Today was a truly inspirational day for the Rho Mu chapter of Chi Omega. To wrap up Greek Week here at DePaul, the FSL Committee put on an elegant awards ceremony for the chapters' executive boards and nominated members. I was thrilled to hear Chi Omega's name called so many times; one of our new initiates won the New Member of the Year award, two seniors won Senior Stoll awards, and our entire chapter won Chapter Unity of the Year.

Today is one of those days that make me feel extra bless to be a Chi Omega and apart of an organization that constantly inspires women to be their best. Without my sisters, I wouldn't be the strong woman I am today. Congrats, Chi Omegas!
There is nothing more classic than a simple tailored navy dress. It exudes elegance and can be styled with nearly any color shoes, jewelry, or other accessories. I'm in love with this navy Dorothy Perkins dress - it's a major contender for my sorority's upcoming formal! One of my favorite color combinations is navy and fuchsia, but here are some other potential colors that complement this stunning dress.
Bellevue Newport also wants to give one lucky Chicago Prepster reader their very own monogrammed necklace (retail $168)! The winner can choose from a gold-plated or sterling silver necklace. Enter through the Rafflecopter widget below by Friday, May 21 at 11:59pm. The winner will be announced on Twitter and contacted via email on May 22!
We all need a little inspiration to get us through a long day of work or school. Today, I'm inspired by these romantic European images from one of my favorite blogs, WILDFLEUR.
Some of my most favorite memories come from my various European vacations to France, England, Spain, Italy, Malta, and Austria. Daydreaming about past European trips puts a little spring in my step and a smile on my face. Happy work day!
The past few weeks have been exciting but chaotic! Midterm week just ended, so I was buried in papers and projects (hence my slight blog absence, sorry). One bit of exciting news is that my boyfriend and I finally found the perfect apartment and we are signing our lease this weekend! It's a beautiful, open, sunny apartment in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood.
Procrastinating for midterms is always easy, especially if you have a new apartment to shop for and decorate! I'm slowly collecting essential items for the new place and I'm making a big trip to IKEA in the next couple of weeks. Time to bring out my inner interior decorator. Here are a few things on my new apartment wish list:
I'm a dream chaser, a go-getter, and an opportunity seeker. I always keep this quote in mind when I think about what's in store for me. It's also a little dose of optimism for those stressed about future plans. If you have a dream, you have the strength to make it a plan!
